“What’s floating by?
What’s fluffy and white and floats up high?
Like a pile of cotton in the sky?
And when the wind blows hard and strong, what very gently floats along?
What brings the rain, what brings the snow?
What showers down on us below?
When you look up high in the sky,
What is that thing you see floating by?
”
How many times do we have our heads up and appreciate the fascinating changes of the sky?
How often have we taken for granted of what we have ?
How long can the order of natural system last due to the destructive human intervention to nature?
I love to observe the clouds and appreciate its company wherever I go at different stages of life.
“Heads up” means a lot to me. When I was young, I was excited to depict the shape of the clouds and imagine the lively sheep jumping over one another in the sky. It sounds silly and innocent but I enjoyed those moments of joy of curiosity to the nature as my fond memory.
Interestingly, I still like to take lots of beautiful cloud shots at different moments of the day. Indeed,the clouds cheer me up no matter if I am struggling in the hectic moments of the day or enjoying the orchestra of nature with family and friends.
The clouds inspire me with hope, emotions and motivation to move forward. I would like to incorporate these precious moments and depict my imagination in my series of sculptural ceramic art. My thesis development will develop from the appreciation of nature to the prediction of chaotic environmental phenomena because of the negative human intervention to the natural order.

I am working on an exploration of different artistic expressions of clouds with my stories of experiences. My conceptual sketches and research of the cloud graphics are stimulating to kick start of my creative journey.
